15th March 1999: Well, I guess I better put something here to let you know what's happening. Most of the activity has been happening on the mailing list - the winter weather seems to keep everyone at home. Ben Vost made a welcome appearance at our last pub meeting and gave us some up to date info on what was happening with the Amiga scene. As you may have noticed, the newsletter that was planned for February has not been done. This is due to the fact that I have moved house and just generally need more help to do it. I may release it on a quaterly basis instead of every two months. Finally, the mailing list has now been moved from the PC and over to Onelist. This was mainly done to help save on the phone bills. There will be more details on how to join on the mailing list page in the near future. 14th January 1999: Officially opened the SWAG resources area. There is an Amiga chat/discussion board, areas for advertising your Amiga bits and wanted items. 6th January 1999: Visits to the SWAG website goes over the 1000 mark, hopefully the first 1000 of many. (going by the more accurate Webtracker counter). |
